"I went through with a purchase of my home at the beginning of the COVID pandemic. What should have been a routine process for the loan process took several detours as the loan requirements changed several times during the process. My DSLD loan officer, Kelly Berns, could not have been more wonderful! She kept me informed of all changes, explained what was happening and reasons why and was always available for all of my questions. In addition, Ms. Berns was so kind, understanding when I was becoming frustrated and exhibited such patience and grace. She worked so well and cooperatively to not only assist with the loan approval process, but she just as importantly worked to help make the process for me efficient so that I could get into my new home. Again, this process was taking place at a time of many unknowns due to the pandemic. I was really happy to finally meet her at my closing. I trusted her in this process. Ms. Berns always exhibited a calming demeanor. I am very grateful for her and how she walked with me during this process!"
